WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
PhotosOrganized is a small business that provides SERVICES and supports to help you manage your photos and family memories. We proudly specialize in DIGITAL PHOTO ORGANIZING SERVICES. What makes us unique is that we help you get organized via remote computer access and screen sharing, so you can be anywhere in the world that has internet connection and you never have to leave the comfort of your home. And more importantly, you can start enjoying the benefits immediately!
BACKGROUND
It all started when the owner, Sylvia Cuillo, was laid off from her professional job due to a merger. Having 5 children, 4 of whom are adopted with special needs, she decided to take this opportunity to start her own business. Since it was a fresh start, she wanted to do something she would LOVE doing and she immediately decided to combine 2 of her passions: photos and organization! She was fortunate to find the Association of Personal Photo Organizers (www.appo.org) and they provided the training and support to launch the business. Since then, PhotosOrganized has helped many women and men, just like you, get control of their ever-growing precious photo libraries.
WHY IT MATTERS
Photo organization is more important now than ever before. We like to snap pictures of everything, everywhere! We are taking more pictures today than ever before in the history of mankind. We want to capture the big and small so we can remember and share our life stories. But the reality is that we can’t keep up with the number of photos we take. And fewer people are actually printing photos. As such, our family histories are especially vulnerable. Ironically, even with massive photo collections, our stories are at greater risk now in the digital age and we need to take action if we want to preserve them.

Because the task can be tedious and time-intensive and the technology overwhelming, often times photo organization does not get done, despite best intentions. The best part is that it is all tailored to your particular set of circumstances and how you take and share photos. It’s not a one-size-fits-all. Instead it’s personal custom-made service just for you.
QUICK TIPS: 3 things to do with your digital photos, if you do nothing else (so that you may have options later):
1. Have ONE DESIGNATED PLACE for ALL your digital photos (i.e. one main folder on your computer as the central hub.)
2. ALWAYS BACKUP your digital photos (options include www.picturekeeper.com, cloud services such as www.backblaze.com, etc.)
3. KEEP UP WITH BASIC TECHNOLOGY to maintain access to your digital photos by transferring your digital photos to the next generation media format as upgrades become available (i.e. videos to CD/DVD to external hard drives.) Do not let access to your digital photos become obsolete as time passes.
